Topic: Dell PowerEdge 2950 - Windows 2003 - SAS 6/ir Raid Controller

My system partition is too small.  I have come across gparted and wondering if it will meet my needs.


I have a SAS 6/ir Raid controller with 4 - 250 GB HDD

THey are set up in a raid 5 array.

C is set to 12 GB and D is using the other ~238 GB

I want to increase the size of C.

Will Gparted bootable CD accomplish this for me?

GParted  supports hardware raid controllers since long. You can use the GParted livecd to resize the partitions.

We recommend to take backup of any important files before any resizing operation.
