Topic: Newest GParted Live CD won't boot

I downloaded the newest .iso file and put it onto a cd with ImgBurn. I try to boot to the cd once restarting, my BIOS is in order and it won't boot to the cd at all. I have tried downloading an older version and booting with that, nothing has worked so far.

Please, give more details of the actions you do and the eventual messages.

Does the computer go to the installed operating system? if so, this means that the cd isn't really bootable. Check if you used an Image burn option, not just any data cd option.

Do you get the initial boot screen from the livecd? Do you get any black screen?

To add to the good suggestions from class413, did you confirm that the checksum of the .iso file you downloaded matched the checksum listed on the download page?
