Topic: possible to add packages?

Hi,

I looked around in the forums for the answer to this, but didn't find anything.  Feel free to point me at something if I missed it.

I'd like to add truecrypt and rsync to my gparted liveusb version.  Any ideas of how to do this?  I could use basic information to get started: what distro is the liveUSB based around? are there packages built for it?

GParted live is based on Debian. It's actually created by live helper. If you want to add some pacakages which are included in Debian, it's not too difficult. You can find a distribution "Clonezilla live" (http://clonezilla.org) and there is a script program called "/opt/drbl/sbin/create-gparted-live", and you can modify that to meet your requirement.
