Topic: [solved] Noob question

Ok i have a 160GB drive with ubuntu installed on it, i have the grub setup to dual boot with windows XP (windows XP is on a 2nd 160GB drive), I now want (i know i should have done this before i installed the o/s) to resize the Ubuntu boot partition to 40GB and make another NTFS partition on the remaining space as a windows XP storage area, can i do this with the gparted LIVE cd without it making me change anything in the grub or reinstalling ubuntu?

Re: [solved] Noob question

you should do this with GParted without problem.
Anyway, before using such tools, user should make some backups.
