Topic: Need help recovering damaged ntfs partition! [SOLVED]

Hi there!

I just did something really stupid, I resized an NTFS partition I had to a smaller size and then tried to format the freed up space to a new ext3 partition. I then tried to commit both these changes at once and this caused an error message to appear. Now I can't access the NTFS partition since Linux can't identify the filesystem on it. I am desperate for help on this since I have a lot of important things on that partition so I would REALLY appreciate if someone has any idea what I can do.

Never mind, I fixed it using TestDisk.
