Topic: Noob kindly requesting assistance--SOLVED--

Hi,

I've loaded Live CD and have gotten the fatal IO error 104. The following info accompanies the error message:

EE failed to load module "dbe" (module does not exist, 0)
EE failed to load module "extmod" ditto
EE failed to load module "gbx" ditto
EE failed to load module "record" ditto
WW RADEON No matching device section for instance (BusID PCI:5:0) found
WW RADEON No matching device section for instance (BusID PCI:5:1) found
EE No devices detected

Any advice would be appreciated.

I have the 2nd most recent of live cd, since i could not get the most recent to download.

could you try to reboot, and type "vesa" without the quotes, at prompt, please ?

In the next release i will add a special script that allows users to set new video driver without rebooting.
The script is called Forcevideo
It is not very friendly, but works well.
Coming soon.
