I have Sony Vaio VGN s5hp

previous review, it recognizes my sata disk, this version, not!

i have enable some other features in kernel, may there is some conflicts... Which is the exact type of your sta drive, please ?
Maybe you could run the old iso, and give me this info.
BTW which is the exact version that worked for you ?

( in windows...or linux_ubuntu 7.04  ?)

for "the exact version that worked for you " i read during the boot "Gnome Partition Editor 0.3"

have a look at the dirve : it might be something written on it, i guess ...
