Topic: gparted-live: systemd failed unmounting /run/live/medium

After dragging the size of my virtual disk from 400GB to 420GB, GParted after booting from the ISO file, gives "systemd failed unmounting /run/live/medium".  I tried booting a few times and got the same error message.  (Note: My virtual OS Windows 10 sees this drive as only having 20GB, which is what I'm trying to expand.  I had no luck expanding it using GParted - no extra space was shown except for 1MB.  Now GParted won't even start - but my virtual Windows 10 still boots.)

Version: gparted-live-1.1.0-6-i686.iso
Oracle VM VirtualBox 6.0

Please take photos about the error messages on the screen then post them. It's easier for us to understand.
Thanks.

This is right after gparted boots up: http://www.snoopyjc.org/attach/gparted-failed.png

Re: gparted-live: systemd failed unmounting /run/live/medium

Please remove "quiet" from the boot parameters when you boot GParted live. If it's legacy BIOS, when you see the boot menu of GParted live, press TAB then edit the parameters by removing the "quiet" and press "Enter" to continue. If it's uEFI BIOS, press "e" and remove the "quiet" then press F10 to continue.
By doing this, it will show verbose messages when booting. This might give more info. Please also take a photo about the screen then post it. Thanks.

Here is the requested screen capture.  A funny thing happened when retrying yet another time - it booted up!!  Very strange it took like 5+ times to boot.  I also just figured out my "real" problem and got it to work!!  (Oracle VM Virtualbox had an > next to the drive and listed a list of a handful of drives under it which were 20GB - I adjusted each of them to 40GB and got gparted now to be able to expand the drive to 40GB.)

Here is the screen shot just before it actually booted:

Have you tried different mode in the boot menu? Like KMS or safe graphics setting:
