Topic: Boot from usb on MacBook

Hi,

I’m trying to resize a partition on an SD card that I use on a Raspberry Pi.

The only machine that I’ve got that has an SD slot is my MacBook Pro (2013, i7, 16Gb).

I downloaded the AMD64 iso and copied it to a usb stick.

I can boot to it ok and I get to the video driver question, once I get past that I get a black screen with Debian copyright message but it does nothing more than that.

Am I using the wrong iso? ...or is something else supposed to happen?

You might try choosing "Safe graphics settings" on boot.  See Tips on Booting GParted Live.
