Topic: create exFAT

So according to the documentation, in order to create a FS you have to have the mkfs.xxx in order to have gparted create said partition, great.  I would like to have gparted create an exFAT for me, but that option is not available, why? I have mkfs.exfat in /usr/sbin/ , still nothing.  I tried reinstalling mkfs.exfat , and reinstalled gparted v 0.30.0, still nothing.  I guess no plans to add that feature?

To which documentation are you referring?

For a list of GParted features, which includes detection (not creation) of exFAT, see GParted Features page.

This is a legal issue.  See Bug 639760 - exfat / fat64 support?
