GOOGLED AND THEY SUGGEST TO COMPILE AND INSTALL E2FSCK NEW VERSION, BUT I'M REPARTITIONATING A HOME PARTITION FROM A LIVE UBUNTU CD, I MANAGED TO COMPILE E2FSCK V1.43 BUT I COULDN'T INSTALL IT AT LIVE CD, OBVIOUSLY THERE'S NO SUCH VERSION IN OFFICIAL REPOSITORIES. IT SEEMS IT'S A RELATIVELY NEW ISSUE.
WHAT CAN I DO??

OS: UBUNTU 16.04

Re: GET A NEWER VERSION OF e2fsck!

You know what? I found out new GParted version 0.26 has been released and also e2fsprogs was built in GParted Live Cd and this version has just the e2fsck version I was needing v1.43. So I must mark this topic as SOLVED. Thank you anyway, I hope not to get in trouble soon.

Thanks for reporting back with how you plan to address the issue.

According to the following post, we might need an even newer version of e2fsprogs.  See Got myself in a pickle.  We'll look into this.
