Topic: Problems in VMWare 3

Hi,

     Trying to resize a W2K partition in VMWare 3 so I can add another OS. I downloaded "gparted-live-0.3.7-7.iso" and made it the primary boot in the W2K partition.

     I get the menu, and then when Linux starts to boot, it gets to the "Checking for 'hlt' instruction ... OK ", and then the entire VMWare instance blows up.

     Is this something anyone has seen, or should I be chasing it down with the Ubuntu people? (gparted live is ontop of Ubuntu, correct?)
