Topic: nForce 780i sata raid

LiveUSB & gparted don't seem to recognize my nForce 780i sata raid controller.  I have two disks in raid0 but gparted sees them as two separate disks.  I looked through the forum and found some posts about gparted & raid, including the sticky in the general forum.  From this post:

I tried "# cat /proc/mdstat" but get the "no such file/dir" error.  When I run "ls /proc" there is no mdstat or files matching md*.

From this one:

I tried "gparted /dev/mapper/nvidia_xyz" and gparted starts up but can't find any devices.

I don't know much about linux so I don't know where to go from here...

You don't mention the version used.

You can try some of the older versions, 0.3.4-x.
An even older version worked for another member these days.
