Topic: Fatal IO 104 Error v3.6.7

System Info
HP Pavilion dv9000 series laptop
Video: GeForce 8600m GS

OS: Vista

Goal: To shrink volume to dual boot XP

I have looked over this forum at other threads concerning this error and tried everything. I have entered all the parameters in the advanced option and I still receive that error.

Anyone have a possible resolution?

There are newer versions for the livecd:
0.3.7-2 and 0.3.7-5. Coul;d you try them, please?

For the sake of an additional data point.  I had the same error running the 3.6-7 LiveCD on an HP Compaq 6715b which runs an integrated ATI Radeon X1250.  Downloaded the test 3.7-5 version of the LiveCD and it booted right up using the defaults.
