Topic: Announcement: GParted 0.7.0 released!

GParted 0.7.0 was released on October 29, 2010

This release of GParted adds initial support for the btrfs file system, and fixes two critical bugs.  Also included are other bug fixes and language translation updates.

Key changes include:

  • Add initial support for btrfs

  • Fix crash at start with glibmm-ERROR

  • Fix crash moving more than one logical partition right

The release notes list all important changes.

Downloaded gparted 7.0 today. Couldn't find md5 chksum. Where do I go to get it?

Thank you stephenecarter for bringing this issue to my attention.

The checksums for the GParted application source code are stored in a notes file in the same directory folder as the the tarball.

For gparted-0.7.0.tar.bz2, these notes can be found at the following link:
gparted-0.7.0-notes.txt

I have added a note to the download page indicating where the application source code release notes and checksums can be found.
