Topic: Non existing drive.

Hi! smile

I have here 1 ide and 1 sata disk.
I used to work with livecd v.0.3.4-7 and everything was as expected.
gparted can see the 2 hard drives: dev/sda and dev/sdb (232 and 466 gb).

These days I downloaded the latest version (and tried also the rest versions after 0.3.4-7) and what is confusing me is that gparted can see the above drives (and the correct size), but it shows also a dev/scd0 disk, with 1 gb capacity.

v0.3.4.7 can still see my 2 drives. All later versions indicating among with these 2, the above mentioned dev/scd0 1gb drive.

What is this drive? Any hints available?
I'm missing something, but I can't figure out what is it!

Re: Non existing drive.

/dev/scd0 is a cd drive. Did you change anything in your hardware configuration?
Sure, there are important changes since live 0.3.4 (kernel changes and more).

*** It is highly recommended to backup any important files before doing resize/move operations. ***

I think in the meantime, I added my 2nd hard disk.
(I already had a 250gb disk and I added a 500gb one).
